The aim of this project was to develop a product made of polypropylene. We looked into the properties of the material in order to identify a problem area where the material would be fit for use.
The good carrying properties of the material and the fact that it is cheap in production became the base while developing our concept. The inspiration for this project was the act of carrying and how different cultures use their body purposefully in order to carry heavy loads. We looked into how we tend to use our hands instead of our body when we carry our grocery bags. We identified the need to carry grocery bags in a better way using the body instead leaving the hands free.
